Fujian Jiangle Shengda Bioengineering Co., Ltd. was established on June 28, 2022. It moved from Lanxi, Zhejiang to Jiangle, Fujian for expansion and new construction (the original factory name was Zhejiang Lanxi Shengda Tartaric Acid Co., LTD.), with a registered capital of 5 million yuan. The company mainly produces and sells D and L tartaric acid. After the project is completed, it can produce 6,000 tons of D and L tartaric acid annually, with a total investment of 105 million yuan. It mainly engages in the production and sale of food additive tartaric acid products and currently has 35 employees.
Main features: Tartaric acid requires less addition than citric acid and malic acid. One gram of citric acid and malic acid is equivalent to 0.7 grams of tartaric acid. Therefore, the products are exported abroad to replace citric acid and malic acid and are used as acidulants in food, beverages, wine and other products. It is also widely applied in industries such as medicine, beauty care, and light industry.
Advanced production technology: The production adopts domestic advanced production equipment and automatic control technology, and uses international advanced enzymatic process. It eliminates the calcification process in the original process and can stably produce refined high-purity tartaric acid and other series of products. It has established an innovative preparation technology for synthetic enzymes and achieved a low-consumption and environmentally friendly production method for D and L-tartaric acid. A coupling technology system for the biosynthesis and separation of organic acids was established, which reduced the inhibitory effect of the products, increased the synthesis rate, achieved continuous production of tartaric acid, and reduced wastewater emissions by 32.2%. This not only lowered the production cost but also significantly reduced wastewater discharge, while effectively reducing environmental pollution.
Production Scale: The D (-) tartaric acid product produced by our company ranks second in the country. Currently, the sales share of our company among domestic peers has reached 45%, and the export sales share has reached 40%. It has strong competitiveness in both domestic and international markets, and most of its exports are to the United States, Germany, Chile, India, South Korea and other countries. It is mainly sold domestically to Shanghai, Jiangxi, Gansu, Hubei, Guangdong, Hainan, Sichuan, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. It has a stable customer base and is highly praised by users.
Excellent product quality: We mainly produce D and L-tartaric acid. Among them, D-tartaric acid is a four-carbon high-purity chiral organic acid independently developed in China, and only China has the technology to achieve large-scale batch production. The quality of D-tartaric acid produced by our company meets international standards.
Business Operation: Trial production began in June 2024. Up to now, 520 tons of D-tartaric acid have been produced, with an output value of 15.6 million yuan. 100 tons of tartaric acid, with an output value of 1.4 million yuan. From June to December 2024, 500 tons of D-tartaric acid were produced (enterprise production product data), with an electricity consumption of 581,200 kilowatt-hours. The average market selling price of the product was approximately 30,000 yuan per ton. In 2024, the tax payment was 121,500 yuan, and the output value reached 15 million yuan. It is estimated that 1,500 tons of D-tartaric acid (enterprise production product data) and 500 tons of L-tartaric acid will be produced in 2025. The estimated annual output value of D and L-tartaric acid is expected to reach 52 million.
